Voomer

John Clauson, with the assistance of his friend Jose in Liverpool, England, built this v-tail mini-quad of PVC sheet. It has 1811-2900 10g motors with 5×3 props, 6A ESCs, a 2S1000mAh battery, an Orange receiver and a KK2.1 board. John had done a number of drawings for Jose’s “Boomer” series of quads, so the name “Voomer” came from “V-tail Boomer.” He wanted a small quad with obvious orientation for back yard flying.
